Vale Automation is a family run business established in 1976 initially as a general building company and now specialising in the supply, installation and automation of gates, garage doors, traffic barriers, rising bollards and accessories.

Access control forms a large part of our workload with audio and visual intercoms, digital keypads, and swipe or proximity readers both stand alone and PC based. Wireless intercoms using either BT lines or GSM mobile technology are also available.

Being in the building trade originally we can offer a wide range of other works associated with gates e.g. brick pillars and walling, timber fencing and matching railings.

We are qualified in engineering trades as well as building and electrical trades and are fully compliant with part P of the building regulations.

As well as our own installations we offer an independent test and inspection service both mechanically to BS EN 12453 and electrically to BS EN 7671 with full certification available. We are members of AESIF (Automatic Entrance Systems Installers Federation) and are on their inspection panel.

We are approved by the major suppliers of automation and are fully conversant with gate automation equipmenty manufactured by amongst others Came, Bft, Faac, Bpt, Nice, Ditec, Sea, Dea, and Gibidi, and access control equipment by Videx, Bpt, Bewator, Paxton, Farfisa, Elvox, Telguard and Wavelink.

We are experienced in domestic, industrial, commercial, leisure, and agricultural works and although based in the Vale of Belvoir we offer a nationwide service.

Whilst we have a standard range of steel and timber gates we prefer to work with our customers to create a unique entrance to their property.
